It was these bootlegs and hacks of the SF2 games that led Capcom to develop Street Fighter 2: Turbo Hyper Fighting and then later on the CPS2 board system. ![]() ![]() It vastly sped up the gameplay of SF2: Champion Edition and allowed for things such as switching characters mid-match, multiple projectiles on screen, throwing projectiles in the air, and various other insane moves that completely threw the balance of the game out the window. Rainbow SF2 is one of the dozens of illegal bootlegs/hacks made of the SF2 board in the early 1990's.
